Offline Lead Capture WP Theme: Paid vs. Free?

A friend of mine did a case-study a while back that showed how paid WordPress themes outranked free themes.

I thought it was an odd finding but after a bit of thinking realized that Google probably assumes that: if a person or company is serious about their website, they will have a premium theme.

My wife just recently upgraded the theme on her cake blog and spent something like $130 USD for it. And that was just the theme – no logo – nothing.

Was it worth it? She thinks so – and that is all that matters 🙂

Custom logo work (any type of custom graphic work really) can get pricey – especially if the designer is GOOD. But where does one get a good designer?

A number of years ago I had a design done (banners, ecovers, site header, the whole nine yards) for a product I launched back then and it was all done by a guy through the warrior forum.

He was indeed as good as everyone said he was, but he wasn’t cheap. I ended up paying him a nice chunk of cash back then and you know – it was worth it. Good graphics go a long ways.

Well anyways, this same designer dude just came out with a WP theme for offliners that I think you will love (if you have use for it).

It comes with all kinds of cool gadgets and is – in my opinion – a nobrainer at $19 if (like I said) you have use for it.

Better Mobile Compatibility?
I am slowly upgrading the themes on all of my blogs to paid themes as well and my main reason for that is: tablet and smartphone compatibility.

There are literally millions of free themes widely available but very few exist that are truly compatible with mobile type devices. Which is – again – something Malik makes sure of in his WordPress Offliner theme.

Something else: Updates. A lot of themes stopped working properly when WordPress did their 3.5 update. When you invest in a theme, you want support to be readily available to fix bugs or address other issues.

In my wife’s case, she oftentimes gets frustrated because of the lack of support her theme creators are providing, but again, Malik has a solid track record of “being there for you” when you need it.

Should you get Maulana Malik’s Offliner theme? If you can see yourself using it (on your own sites or client sites) then – YES!

Paying $19 for this bundle is a heck of a deal and definitely worth every penny in my opinion.
