After the PR (page rank) update back in January, a lot of marketers were left wondering if PR had any value whatsoever anymore. In fact, I read numerous discussions were SEO folks were trying to argue that PR had too little relevancy to pay attention to.
Well it appears that things are back to normal (back to what they used to be) as far as PR is concerned.
Did your site(s) increase in PR?
Every site that I am actively promoting increased in PR today. A few of the PR1 sites went to PR4 while this site (seodagger.com) went to PR3 (mind you I BARELY do any SEO for this site.)
All in all I am really happy with the outcome of todays PR update. It is pretty exciting to see a site jump by 3 digits overnight!
What did I do to get these magnificent results on my sites? I built a ton of high quality backlinks.
Aside from using SEOLinkVine and backlinks.com, pretty much the only backlink building I have done to my sites these last few months have been “linkjuice booster” packs.
Because of the magnificent results I have been getting in rank improvements as well as PR improvements, I will keep using this approach for all of my sites.
In fact, I plan on relaunching my “25+ backlinks a day” service in a week or two here with some very powerful twists that you will absolutely love so… make sure to subscribe to my newsletter on the right to stay up to date on that.
Also, I would love to hear some feedback on what this PR update has done to your sites. Did they go up in PR? If yes, what do you think the cause for that was?
